Delete your account

You delete your account yourself, in the application, in a few seconds. Everything we hold about you goes with it.
In the application
- Open My account (in the Android app, the menu at the top right of the drill screen; on the web, the tab of the same name).
- Type the word DELETE in the confirmation field (SUPPRIMER if the application is in French).
- Press Delete permanently.
The deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no recycle bin, no cooling-off period and no confirmation e-mail, since we do not know your address. If you sign in again afterwards with the same Google account, you are treated like any new user: a new, empty account with no link to the old one if sign-ups are open at that time, and a refusal otherwise.
What is erased
The account, the opaque identifier passed by Google, the open sessions, every attempt, the statistics per skill, the drills served, the training language you chose, the recording reports you sent and the record of your acceptance of the terms. That is everything we hold: we have neither your name, nor your e-mail address, nor any device data.
What remains, and for how long
No copy in service. Three technical backups may still contain your data for a while, exactly those the privacy policy describes:
- the continuous replication of the database, where the deletion propagates immediately, and whose earlier snapshots are erased at the latest 48 hours after your deletion, barring a prolonged outage or a long period without any activity on the service;
- the ten copies taken just before each update of the service, replaced in rotation at each update;
- the copies taken by hand during an emergency repair, if there are any, erased by hand.
If you can no longer sign in
Write to support@entrainear.com from the Google address of your account. Since we do not keep that address, we will ask you to sign in once to identify the account; if that is impossible, we will delete the account whose recent drills you can describe. Answer within 30 days.
